Selena Lohan launched her Mimic Baby Sign Language business in 2004, and has since developed a community based instructional business to an international 'edutainment' brand.

Inspired by her deaf husband Max Fomitchev, who is a lead clown in Cirque Du Soleil's touring show Alegria, and the success of using American Sign Language to communicate and bond with both their hearing children, Mimic Me was born.

Motivated by the high demand for her classes, in 2006 Lohan produced a fun instructional DVD on baby signing called MIMIC ME.   The DVD was selected for the gift basket for parent presenters at the 2007 Oscars.

Lohan was featured in the book  "New Pioneers" highlighting female entrepreneurs ~ pioneers in new fields of business.

Mimic me promises to be a landmark program for children with the developmental and socializing benefits of sign language.
